Tencel™ Lyocell fiber was developed as an alternative fiber to viscose, with eco-friendliness as a top priority.
As a matter of fact, it’s produced from Eucalyptus wood which makes it 100% biodegradable. What’s more, its production process (closed cycle) allows 99% of the solvents to be reused, uses less energy and also less water.
Tencel Lyocell fibre was first sighted on the market in 1992. It is a fibre produced from the cellulose of trees, in our case from eucalyptus trees in FSC certified forests. Sourced from Dyeing House Gallery in Italy from a manufacturer that is certified Carbon Neutral.
As no animal products are used in the production of Tencel™ Lyocell, it is considered a vegan fiber.
Sold by the ounce in a range of Oeko-Tex 100 certified dyed colors as well as natural.
Care: Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry.

Returns
