*September Exclusive* Indie Knit and Spin Hand Carded Batt - Merino Shetland BFL Silk - 4 oz

Indie Knit and Spin was the first fiber festival we ever vended at - a Pittsburgh Indie Fiber Arts Marketplace where we have met so many dear customers and colleagues over the years.  For a time, Nik and I were the stewards of the show, trying to steer it through the chaos of the pandemic.  While it's not currently an active show, it's a symbol of the connection between Pittsburgh and the fiber arts, and the need to constantly support our community and our super local and independent purveyors.  Indie Knit and Spin is back as a gradient hand carded batt featuring Merino, Shetland and Blue Faced Leicester wool with an array of Tussah and Mulberry Silks and a touch of Recycled Sari Silk.  Each four ounce hand carded batt features 40% Merino wool, 15% Shetland wool, 15% Blue Faced Leicester wool, 15% Tussah Silk, 10% Mulberry Silk, and 5% Sari Silk.  Like anything representing Pittsburgh, it's Black and Gold and White - heavy on the grellow for its indie and hipster roots.  

Carded in two passes for easy drafting and spinning.  Batts will be hand carded to order (unless noted otherwise), and some variation is to be expected.

Only available for sale in September. Orders will ship in approximately 1-2 weeks.

Care: Handwash in tepid water using a wool wash.  Lay flat to dry.
