Base12 2024 Fiber SAL - Pre-Order

It's time for another Base12 Spinalong!  Join us this December 12th as we embark on another 12 days of spinning! 

This year's inspiration will be Dark Academia.  Jill was once on a path to the ivory tower of academia but then took a side path that led her to the dark arts of all things fiber and spinning.  So this year, the colors will be rich and moody, with hints of gilded bound volumes and journeys into the stacks.  

Each kit will include a total of 6 ounces of fiber - each day will feature 1/2 oz of fiber and over the course of the 12 days, there will be 4 hand dyed 80/20 Cormo wool silk, 4 HipStrings Signature Blend Combed Tops, and 4 hand carded batts (approx 75/25 Merino Silk, but may contain other fibers).  Expect a little hint of texture in your batts and Signature Blends, but not a lot.  If you have any fiber allergies, please note in your order comments.

Base12 kits also come with extras including a drawstring bag and an invitation to join us via YouTube livestream for the 12 days of the spinalong.  Kits will ship by November 15th.  Supplies are limited.

The listing photo is My Gems by William Michael Harnett (1888), and contains a hint of the overall vibe - but if you're concerned about colors, this will be a dark and moody set of Jill colors - plenty of blues, greens, neutrals and a couple of coordinating pops of color.
