*September Exclusive* Warhol Hand Carded Batt - Merino Shetland Bamboo Silk - 4 oz

Warhol is back as a hand carded batt featuring Merino and Shetland wool, along with bright streaks of Mulberry Silk and Viscose from Bamboo.  Inspired by Warhol's Flowers prints, Warhol was part of our Pittsburgh collection, as he grew up in Pittsburgh and now the Warhol Museum is part of Pittsburgh's art scene.   Each four ounce hand carded batt features 60% Merino wool, 10% Shetland wool, 15% Mulberry Silk, and 15% Viscose from Bamboo.

This batt is carded a bit differently than my usual batts to reduce blending of the bamboo and silk with the wool for the specific effect of having streaks of bright colors interspersed among a black background.  So the abrupt changes between wool and the bamboo/silk is a feature, not a bug - and consequently, the spinning will not be as straightforward as my batts usually are.  I promise the visual effect is worth it.  Batts will be hand carded to order (unless noted otherwise), and some variation is to be expected.

Care: Handwash in tepid water using a wool wash.  Lay flat to dry.
