BFL Silk Lace contains 50% Superwash Blue Faced Leicester wool and 50% Tussah silk in a decadent 2 ply laceweight yarn with 770 yards in each 100 g skein.
We've taken this laceweight yarn and taken it for a swim in our dyepots to create beautiful speckled gradients on top of gorgeous solid shades.
The knitted piece in the listing photo illustrates the effect of the dyeing process - a one way speckled gradient.
Journalism is an inky black speckled gradient overlaid on an ecru background.
Care: Handwash cold. Lay flat to dry.
